These are a few of our fave fab things......
At CSE we like to consider ourselves some fabulous ladies. As lovers of all things that sparkle we thought we'd share with you some of the things we love!!
Trish didn't even know where to begin in her list. So she emptied her Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Portobello purse and there was the things she couldn't live without.
Trish wears this cuff anytime she wears black or white. She says it dresses up jeans as only Chanel can. She loves all things Chanel especially classic and vintage Chanel.
Trish is not a makeup wearer at all, so the most she does is lipgloss and Cover Girl's Pressed Powder.
It's very rare you will find Trish without a Starbucks beverage in her hand. If its not her Grandmother's favorite Caramel Machicato, it is her fave Caramel Frappuccino.
I used to always wonder where Trish found unique decor for her home and events. Two places Trish loves to shop are Container Store, and World Market. She says she finds the most unique items at these stores. From decor, containers, to food and she volunteered that you will fall in love with World Market's wine selection and offers that they have wine tastings every Saturday for .25 cents.
Lastly, Trish loves her shoes. Says she has to have about 75 pair, but doesn't like to go higher than a 4 inch heel. Her fave shoe designers include; Michael Kors, Steve Madden, Jessica Simpson and more...
Mila is a fashionista as well, so working for a fashionista is the perfect harmony.
Mila says her fave designer is none other than Christian Dior.
As a beauty marketing and public relations guru Mila is all about beauty and skin care. Her must have beauty product is Iman's BB Cream.
Mila also swears by the Hello Bombshell Makeup Kit by Victoria's Secret. It comes with everything needed for a fabulous face .
Mila believes everyone should be beautiful inside and out, so when it times she relax she enjoys a cup her fave Lemon & Ginseng Tea.
These were a few of fave fab thing.... Hope you enjoyed!!!

Dinner For 8 Please....
Surprising your wife with a dinner with her closest family and friends for her birthday is quite the gift.
So having the pleasure of making it all come to life for Sasha was an enjoyment.
Of course chooses a simple color and he chose to do everything in black. However, I convinced him adding the color blue would be all the wow.
For the decor I opted for two similar but a bit different centerpieces.
Along custom hand painted lettering on each table, on top of each charger was a patterned napkin under glitter take out containers.
In this design I again used paper flowers, very budget friendly. Candles let up the table as guests also got to enjoy some sweets before their meal as candy was on each table.
The cake also tied in very well with the theme. It was a red velvet cake had hints of blue and black which went perfect.
Let's just say Sasha was very pleased with what her husband had done, and when she walked in the door it was no surprise the party was for her.
Thanks to Cakes 2 Envy for the dessert.

A Glam Affair
Turning 21 is a milestone event that we feel must be celebrated in an all out way.
We had the pleasure of planning the 21st birthday for DiDi, and at 1st we couldnt decide on a theme to go with. Finally we decided on glam. All the quests would be wearing all white which we think is a glamorous color so a glam theme was perfect.
We opted for colors of black and white with a splash of hot pink. I wanted the event to be glamours yet personal, so on a white linen covered table I added photos of DiDi along side black and white chargers.
I really love the Damask print, it adds a certain elegance and flair to events and weddings. So I chose Damask black and white take out boxes and tissue paper. With the Damask tissue paper I created these super cute and easy paper flowers.
Paper flowers are a great inexpensive way to get the look of flowers without the cost.
I also added pops of pink color with pink pillars pink Damask candles, and the balloons with pink tissue paper wrapped weighs.
Candy Buffet
Behold the amazing candy buffet. Candles, gumballs, pillars balloons, cake, and fancy vases made for a fabulous display of sweets.
I opted for taller candles near the cake, and hand painted letters in honor of the birthday girl.

WEDDING TREND ALERT!!! So as I occasionally do I go and browse the craft aisle's of Michael's Arts & Crafts. This time I was shopping for an upcoming banquet I was planning. I had looked through my portfolio noticing I always use a charger in my design. And thats when I saw it - the most gorgeous pieces of paper I ever did see.
And it hit me, placemats!!! I'm not sure why I didnt think of this earlier. Especially since there is so many different fabulous prints to chose from. I have used placemats in two recent events.
A Princess & The Frog & Sistahood Empowerment Banquet. Two different events but look how fabulous the placemats look.

I then started looking at ideas for weddings. So here I share with you some inspiration. Now wasnt that refreshing and inspiring.

Let's face it some of us girls are just material girls who love fun fabulous things. Henri Bendel is fabulous boutique known for its signature brown and white strips. We thought how cute would it be to create a Henri Bendel Inspired Bridal Shower!!!
Invitations of course would be the start to letting guests know the fabulousness in store.

Decorate a beverage tray with brown and white striped fabric and serve champagne.
No event is complete without a fabulous dessert table.
Adding a pop of color to the table decor will really wow your guests. Lastly, guests will leave with their own mini faux Henri Bendel Bag!!!

EMPOWER YOUR FELLOW SISTA I've been saying for awhile now how I would love for more women to stick together instead of competing with one another.
This month I had the pleasure of planning a Sistahood Empowerment Banquet for Columbus Public Schools. This is the 5th year I've planned their annual banquet and I'm delighted each year for the honor.
Normally for banquets and dinners you always have your typically charger as a place setting. For this years banquet I opted to try place mats as an alternative and I was much impressed.
Each table had a different quote on them, providing inspiration to guests to not only empower themselves but other women as well.
Each quest also were a question to answer "How Will You Empower Another Sista?" Each quest had to go around the room and recite.
Full dessert table was amazing with homemade cookies, brownies and cupcakes from Cakes 2 Envy, and lollipops, chocolate, candy sticks, & gummy bears. The girls were in sweet tooth heaven.
The menu for the banquet was macaroni and cheese, green beans, and brown stew chicken and was catered by Abba Caribbean Cuisine.
The girls were also awarded for the academics during the school year.
Again, it was a pleasure to plan such a fabulous event for such a fabulous group of girls.
Special thanks to Columbus Public Schools, Cakes 2 Envy, Abba Caribbean Cusine, & Event Assistant Mila for helping make this event fabulous.

Columbus Bridal Cafe - Launch Event
Having a business idea is some many people have. Having a business idea and putting the wheels in motion is something totally different. So, when I decided to create Columbus Bridal Cafe I went round and round with the thought of having a resource for brides and the would they visit the site and what have yous. Then I started asking myself; Do you see yourself doing anything else besides events and wedding in the next five years? The answer was no.

So the choice was simple, create a local wedding resource website and advertise other business as I would like my own wedding business to be advertised. This launch event was very important to me because it not only represented a new business venture but a new chapter in my own life. So everyone who took the time to come out and show their support was very much appreciated.

WHERE STARS ARE MADE!!!
Celebrity Style Events & an Hollywood themed party hand in hand right, so we super delighted to plan an 8th birthday party for the Taylor family.
A week before the event is when all the magic began to happen.
Custom "junk" centerpieces were made. This is a new centerpiece style we have been trying here at Celebrity Style Events. We take several ideas of the events theme & put them all in one fabulous centerpiece.
The finished product turned out fabulous & it added a great element to the tables. We wanted to focus on the birthday girl; Asiah being a star. So lots of stars were used during this event.
A trend in events this year is sequin. So we were very excited to use sequin tablecloths.
Five different centerpieces were used including stars, our custom Hollywood "centerpieces", balloon bouquets, feathers & vintage cameras.
The vintage cameras added a old hollywood touch to the event.
Another special touch that was added to this event was custom lettering. Including the birthday girls name: Asiah, and "Hollywood" for the candy buffet which were both custom painted.
Lastly, no Hollywood event is complete without a red carpet & photo backdrop.
Thanks to Jameelah - Event Assistant. Driving Park Rec Center & The Taylor Family!!

Pretty Girls Rock!!!!
We had the pleasure of planning a 3rd Birthday Party for the White Family. Which was "Pretty Girls Rock" Themed
We wanted to keep the event trendy yet for the younger crowd but still with a fabulous touch.
Sequin tablecloths were the base for the table design. Followed by black and pink fun shaped square chargers. Napkins were customized by adding pink and black ribbon around them. Another cool touch was instead of a traditional candy buffet - cases with with candy were lined on the tables.
A thicker tulle with sparkles in it was laid in the center. I love this tulle it really adds a great touch to kid birthday parties. Custom "Pretty Girl Rock" signs and black letter "C" on pink pillars added another fabulous touch as well as balloon bouquet centerpieces.
A Pretty Girl cant Rock without a glam fairy who was on hand to powder all the little girls noses, and tattoos for the boys.
At the end glam bags were given to each guest thanking them for attending.
It was very fun and loved the creativity it brought to create this event.
Thanks to The White Family. Event assistant Jameelah & Columbus Parks & Recreation.
