Halloween Parties!!!

Halloween is coming soon and Im gearing up to host a halloween party. Sense  this will be a adult halloween party I wanted to have some creepy yet sexy drinks and food to serve. I wanted to share my ideas with you so that you can use them in your parties this year to leave your guests both spooked and amazed.

Im going to  start off with Blood Orange Mimosa's by Casa Vinicola Canella. This wine is a light fruity and refreshing wine. Made with grape-wine and juice. I love this wine because its affordable, and great tasting. You can find this wine at your local World Market for less than $15

For food I will be serving some creative dished inspired by halloween.

Like this Sesame Chicken Wings served with green onions. The green onions give this a great color. The receipe is simple also.

Sesame Chicken Wings

What You Need
1/4 cup sesame oil 1 Tbsp.  garlic salt 1 Tbsp. ground red pepper (cayenne) 2 tsp.  ground ginger 2 lb. chicken wings, separated at joints, tips removed 3/4 cup  BULL'S-EYE Raging Buffalo Barbecue Sauce 2 Tbsp. sliced green onions concordance-end
Make It
COMBINE oil, garlic salt, pepper and ginger in large resealable plastic bag. Add chicken; seal bag. Turn bag over several times to evenly coat chicken with the oil mixture. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate. PREHEAT grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Grill chicken 15 min., turning occasionally. Brush lightly with some of the barbecue sauce. Continue grilling 4 to 5 min. or until chicken is cooked through, turning and brushing frequently with the remaining barbecue sauce. PLACE chicken on serving platter; sprinkle with the onions.

Also, a crowd pleaser will be my Spider's Web Seven Layer Dip

Ingredients:
1 (16 oz) can refried black beans
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope taco seasoning
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies, drained (or jalapeños if you like it hot)
1 C. salsa
1 C. sour cream
1 C. guacamole
1 1/2 C. shredded cheese
2 green onions, sliced
2 C. shredded lettuce
1 C. chopped fresh tomato
A couple large bags of tortilla chips
Instructions: 1. In a small mixing bowl, stir together the refried beans and taco seasoning.
2. On a large festive Halloween tray , spread the beans in an even circular shape. Leave room around the edges for the garnish.
3. Sprinkle green chilies over. Smooth salsa over. Smooth guacamole over.
4. Place your sour cream in the end of a ziploc bag. Cut the corner off. Squeeze sour cream on top of guacamole in several concentric circles (or octagon shapes for a more authentic look). Using a knife or the handle of a fork, run lines lightly through the sour cream to make the web shape.
5. Sprinkle lettuce in a circle around bean dip. Sprinkle tomatoes and green onions over. Sprinkle cheese over.
6. Garnish with a creepy spider and serve with lots of tortilla chips!
