Happy Holidays!!! Its not too late to decorate for Christmas. So if your going to decorate this Christmas, of course do it with style & fabulousness of course. Instead of the usual red and green opt for a more fabulous color such as silver or in my case gold!! I decided to decorate in gold this year because I was dreaming of a golden Christmas that is oh so fabulous.... How to create this tablescape is super simple..... I started with a metallic gold tablecloth with a glitter finish. The brown place mats are leather. Its hard to see but that vase in the center is filled with gold ornaments. Adding more sparkle to sparkle are gold pillar candles. A simple gold charger under a handmade bowl that was made in Italy. The napkin ring is a golden turtle, all from Pier One including the napkins. A sweet golden treat makes everything complete and you cant go wrong with Ferrero Rocher. I also added golden star tea light holders from Pier One as well. Christmas is not complete without a snow globe. I love these cute golden snow men I added to the table. Nothing is ever started or finished without some FAITH... Wishing you and yours a Happy Holidays from the staff of Celebrity Style Events!!!

When I saw the pics from our fave celebrity reverend Rev. Run I had to do a new blog post on it. If your unfamiliar with Celebrity Style Events our slogan is "Mimicking the Events of Celebrities, not the cost!" We show you how easy and inexpensive it is to create a celebrity style look on events and weddings. Well in this post Rev. Run had a fab cake done that cost around $750 and our sister company Cakes 2 Envy mastered the same cake for only $250 Also adding the shoe box and the platform for the shoe making it simply fabulous!! Rev Run recently celebrated his birthday in NYC and all the celebs were there including his "Pastry" daughterAngela Simmons and singer/author/actor/motivator Tyrese Gubson. Look at how fab the cake is!!!! Now look at the cake done by our sister company Cakes 2 Envy.... Please comment on what you think of the cake and for all your cake decorating needs please call Sonya at Cakes 2 Envy 614.376.6991 www.Cakes2Envy.com

A Birthday that is.... Now you dont have to wait till the last minute to plan a birthday party. Because it comes once a year!! In the past few months I have had several calls and been to several parties where they have just "thrown together" a birthday party. Chuckie Cheese and Magic Mountain are cool places for kids. But for event planners a nightmare. Wouldnt you want a personalized party for you, your child or a loved one where you can control the theme, the games, the activity and not all the headache of thousands of kids running around? There is no need for this. You can accomplish a fabulous party!! YES YOU CAN!! I decided to share some tips with all you last minute planners to get you on track for a more prepared birthday celebration. 1. CREATE A CHECKLIST - First things first; create a checklist for the celebration. This can be an excel spreadsheet or buy a notebook just for the planning. Map out your theme, rough estimate of guests, menu, and decorations. 2. BOOK IN ADVANCE - If your planning to have the celebration at a banquet hall most allow you to book 12 months in advance. If you want to host the event at a friend of family members home letting them know in advance is the utmost respect. 3. CREATE BUDGET & SAVE - None of our are Donald Trump here so you know how much you want to spend. Say for instance you dont want to go over $1,000 well then thats your budget. Setup a special account and save money each week or month until you reach you budget. 4. ORDER IN ADVANCE - Did you know that ordering decorations on line in advance not only ensure you have everything you need but you can also save money if there is a sale going on. It also ensures you dont have to wait to shop in a store at the last minute and they dont have all the supplies you need. 5. SMOOTH SAILING - Now on the day of your celebration you have no stress you have everything all planned out. The celebration will move along with smooth sailing. Now if you cant handle these steps do hire a professional that can ensure a smooth and impressive event. Celebrity Style Events 614.354.2676

One of the hottest celebrity accessories is not a key chain, a scarf or earring but a belt. Not any ol' belt though the famous Hermes Leather Belt. Retailing for $640.00 at www.Hermes.com the designers hottest fashion asset is all over the waists of our fave celebs. I love how the belt can be dressed up or dress down for a casual or glamorous look.

Whats The Most Expensive Baby Shower Gift You've Given? If you ask former Destinys Child member Kelly Rowland she'll say 7K because thats what she spent on a rare luxury baby bath tub with Swarovski crystals on it. I guess thats the kind of gifts you give when your living the celebrity style life get it lol The most expensive baby show gift I have given is a crib and I went in half for it. My fave fashion season is here: FALL!!! Although I hate the cold it brings I love the fashion it does bring. If you ask me my fave thing about fall I'd tell you its boots. Last season I was so excited for the open toe boots and booties. They were perfect for me and all the year round pedicure girls of the world. This year I wanted to share some of the fall fashion trends for 2011 that are me and celeb favorites. 4. WIDE LEG PANTS Although, I only like tailored wide leg jeans. Im loving these wide leg trousers. You can dress em up like Selita, or look chic and casual like Beyonce. 3. Mustard I love mustard hues but I hate that its so hard to find if its not trending. Im exciting mustard is making a comeback. It looks so good on my skin tone. 2. Women's Tuxedo If you seen the Tom Ford fall collection you know the womens tuxedo is making a huge comeback. Seen on mega stars such as Rihanna, Beyonce, LaLa and more. 1. Slit up to there Skirts & Dresses Nothing wrong with showing a lil' thigh as long as its done tasteful. This is my fave look for fall this season. It shows just a lil' without showing too much.
