Dinner For 8 Please....
Surprising your wife with a dinner with her closest family and friends for her birthday is quite the gift.
So having the pleasure of making it all come to life for Sasha was an enjoyment.
Of course chooses a simple color and he chose to do everything in black. However, I convinced him adding the color blue would be all the wow.
For the decor I opted for two similar but a bit different centerpieces.
Along custom hand painted lettering on each table, on top of each charger was a patterned napkin under glitter take out containers.
In this design I again used paper flowers, very budget friendly. Candles let up the table as guests also got to enjoy some sweets before their meal as candy was on each table.
The cake also tied in very well with the theme. It was a red velvet cake had hints of blue and black which went perfect.
Let's just say Sasha was very pleased with what her husband had done, and when she walked in the door it was no surprise the party was for her.
Thanks to Cakes 2 Envy for the dessert.

Let's face it some of us girls are just material girls who love fun fabulous things. Henri Bendel is fabulous boutique known for its signature brown and white strips. We thought how cute would it be to create a Henri Bendel Inspired Bridal Shower!!!
Invitations of course would be the start to letting guests know the fabulousness in store.

Decorate a beverage tray with brown and white striped fabric and serve champagne.
No event is complete without a fabulous dessert table.
Adding a pop of color to the table decor will really wow your guests. Lastly, guests will leave with their own mini faux Henri Bendel Bag!!!

EMPOWER YOUR FELLOW SISTA I've been saying for awhile now how I would love for more women to stick together instead of competing with one another.
This month I had the pleasure of planning a Sistahood Empowerment Banquet for Columbus Public Schools. This is the 5th year I've planned their annual banquet and I'm delighted each year for the honor.
Normally for banquets and dinners you always have your typically charger as a place setting. For this years banquet I opted to try place mats as an alternative and I was much impressed.
Each table had a different quote on them, providing inspiration to guests to not only empower themselves but other women as well.
Each quest also were a question to answer "How Will You Empower Another Sista?" Each quest had to go around the room and recite.
Full dessert table was amazing with homemade cookies, brownies and cupcakes from Cakes 2 Envy, and lollipops, chocolate, candy sticks, & gummy bears. The girls were in sweet tooth heaven.
The menu for the banquet was macaroni and cheese, green beans, and brown stew chicken and was catered by Abba Caribbean Cuisine.
The girls were also awarded for the academics during the school year.
Again, it was a pleasure to plan such a fabulous event for such a fabulous group of girls.
Special thanks to Columbus Public Schools, Cakes 2 Envy, Abba Caribbean Cusine, & Event Assistant Mila for helping make this event fabulous.

WHERE STARS ARE MADE!!!
Celebrity Style Events & an Hollywood themed party hand in hand right, so we super delighted to plan an 8th birthday party for the Taylor family.
A week before the event is when all the magic began to happen.
Custom "junk" centerpieces were made. This is a new centerpiece style we have been trying here at Celebrity Style Events. We take several ideas of the events theme & put them all in one fabulous centerpiece.
The finished product turned out fabulous & it added a great element to the tables. We wanted to focus on the birthday girl; Asiah being a star. So lots of stars were used during this event.
A trend in events this year is sequin. So we were very excited to use sequin tablecloths.
Five different centerpieces were used including stars, our custom Hollywood "centerpieces", balloon bouquets, feathers & vintage cameras.
The vintage cameras added a old hollywood touch to the event.
Another special touch that was added to this event was custom lettering. Including the birthday girls name: Asiah, and "Hollywood" for the candy buffet which were both custom painted.
Lastly, no Hollywood event is complete without a red carpet & photo backdrop.
Thanks to Jameelah - Event Assistant. Driving Park Rec Center & The Taylor Family!!

Pretty Girls Rock!!!!
We had the pleasure of planning a 3rd Birthday Party for the White Family. Which was "Pretty Girls Rock" Themed
We wanted to keep the event trendy yet for the younger crowd but still with a fabulous touch.
Sequin tablecloths were the base for the table design. Followed by black and pink fun shaped square chargers. Napkins were customized by adding pink and black ribbon around them. Another cool touch was instead of a traditional candy buffet - cases with with candy were lined on the tables.
A thicker tulle with sparkles in it was laid in the center. I love this tulle it really adds a great touch to kid birthday parties. Custom "Pretty Girl Rock" signs and black letter "C" on pink pillars added another fabulous touch as well as balloon bouquet centerpieces.
A Pretty Girl cant Rock without a glam fairy who was on hand to powder all the little girls noses, and tattoos for the boys.
At the end glam bags were given to each guest thanking them for attending.
It was very fun and loved the creativity it brought to create this event.
Thanks to The White Family. Event assistant Jameelah & Columbus Parks & Recreation.

It was a hot yet fabulous Sunday morning on the lake as we began shooting. During our first styled shoot a rustic theme was decided and the lake as a backdrop was such a fabulous touch. Our Bride; Brandi we wanted her to be a studding yet casual bride that would inspire brides to be to have fun on their wedding day. The decor was rustic and eco friendly with simple touches that added a amazing touch. Like chalkboard placecards in leaf place card holders, keylime creme soda, pears and more... Lakeside Rustic Styled Shoot I'm so excited to share our first styled shoot with you all. Event Planner/Designer: Trish Drake Celebrity Style Events Model/Bride: Brandi Ferguson

I had the pleasure of planning a graduation celebration for the Ruffin Family. They spared no expense to make sure the graduate knew just how proud of them they were!!!
Graduating from Pickerington High School the client wanted to keep the theme within the school colors. However, they wanted to add a fabulous touch to the celebration.
Client also wanted a head table so that the graduates top influences would be celebrated as well. Each of them were greeted with custom gift boxes filled with lots of goodies as a way of showing his thanks.
Each table included a custom favor box, and inspiration cards.
The cake table was a sight to see with two custom cakes and large photos of the graduate.
Special Thanks To:
Cakes 2 Envy Pasta Ria Pickerington Senior Center & of course the Ruffin Family!!!
